The Organic Human Network
Business associations are organic, living networks, and there is a strong inter-relationship between the health and well being of all involved entities and the success level of their endeavors. byZero Corporation maintains the same philosophy towards their infrastructure architecture as they do their programming architecture: Modular and Scalable.
The predictability of project resource requirements is chaotic. New projects emerge quickly and scheduled projects become delayed indefinitely. The key to managing resources in such a fluid landscape is through a combination of a core management staff and an established and proven network of associations. This model accommodates the ebb and flow of all associates' business tides, and provides an organic, dynamic resource pool to successfully meet emerging challenges.
Balance and the well being of all parties are the keys to the success of any business associations.
No advantage is gained by disrupting that balance for individual benefit.
The Ideal: Modular / Scalable Everything
The goal of application development for the enterprise is to fulfill all business requirements through production of sustainable application architecture.
Sustainable application architecture is resistant to obsolescence through eventual changes in business requirements, technological advancements, or the integration of new systems into the enterprise. This is achieved by implementation of a modular, scalable n-tier application framework that provides at a minimum isolation between the database, business, and presentation tiers of the software. At a more granular level, individual business objects and methods are created as individual type or class libraries to facilitate changes in business requirements or logic with minimal impact on the overall application structure. Further benefit is realized in ongoing application maintenance by the resulting standardized, understandable code base.
The Bottom Line
Successful fulfillment of the needs and business requirements of the Client are byZero’s paramount goal. That fulfillment includes not only the production of software to meet the functional business requirements, but to do so within given fiscal and time constraints. Sometimes those factors necessitate compromise to The Ideal: Legacy code may need to be salvaged, a quick fix or shortcut may need to be implemented. These compromises are a part of the real world, and no project barring a ground-up endeavor is spared.
At the end of the day, we strive for The Ideal, then build what works for the client.
